what happened in Crystal Storm?
- King Gaius’ mother was a witch. Gaius took one of her potions that allowed him to forget Elena, his true love and Cleo’s mother.
- Jonas joins up with Asher and they head to Kraeshia.
- Cleo and Magnus hear that Gaius is healing from his fall. They’re obviously disappointed. Gaius tells Magnus that he should go to find Selia, who can help them find Lucia.
- Gaius tells his wife that he has been looking for Magnus. Amara thinks this is sketchy, so she has him followed.
- Lucia finds Timotheus in the crystal city, and he says he knows who she is – the sorceress reborn. The Watchers all bow to Lucia.
- Jonas and Felix fight on the deck of the ship. Jonas’ fists randomly start glowing. Jonas sees the mark of the Watcher on his chest, and then passes out.
- Lucia plans to trap Kyan, the fire god.
- Magnus makes it to Selia, who’s not such a good witch any more as her powers are depleted. Magnus has to go in search of a bloodstone to help restore Selia’s magic. Once this is done, Selia will heal Gaius, and lift Cleo’s curse.
- Amara attempts to learn more about the Kindred. Kyan visits her and promises her power if she goes with him to Paelsia and helps him restore his body.
- Timotheus talks about the multi-verse with Lucia. He tells her there are seven worlds in total, and Damon is able to travel through them to drain their power.
- Lucia goes back to Mytica, which is now full of Kracian soldiers that have been sent there by Amara.
- Jonas figures that when he was healed by the Watchers, he absorbed their magic. He’s sad that this is all it is, and he hasn’t actually become a Watcher.
- Magnus travels to Basilia with Cleo, Gaius, and Selia in search of the bloodstone. They bump into Jonas and agree to work together to get rid of Amara.
- Magnus isn’t sure he can trust Cleo.
- The group learns that Asher is AWOL, along with a couple of Kindreds. They already knew about the water Kindred being with Amara, but not about Kyan.
- Felix tries to assassinate Amara while she’s giving a speech. He fails and is captured. Lucia heals Nic when he is stabbed, and this causes a mob to swarm her. Jonas saves Lucia from the crowd. Lucia starts to have labour pains, which seems incredibly early. It’s probably an alien.
- Timotheus visits Jonas in a dream and tells him that Lucia will die in child birth. Jonas will have to raise the child.
- Magnus and Selia find the person who has the bloodstone. Selia kills him, and uses the bloodstone to heal Gaius.
- Gaius stops Selia from poisoning Cleo. He sends Cleo away.
- Amara’s army arrives.
- Kyan tells Lucia that she is no longer needed, and takes them to Amara.
- Cleo talks with Amara and attempts to join her. She’s upset because she thinks Nic is dead.
- Asher is ALIVE and is thrown in the pit. Not much of an upgrade tbh.
- Nic saves Magnus and they head off to find the air Kindred. They are caught and thrown in the pit.
- Selia arrives at the base and it’s revealed that she is the one that stole the air Kindred. Selia pushes Cleo and Amara into the pit, and it becomes a party in there.
- Lucia gives birth, and Jonas tells her to drain his magic to save herself.
- Selia starts performing a ritual to free the Kindred. Kyan possesses Nic. Gaius stops Selia by killing her, but not before the Kindred escape their orbs. Olivia’s body is taken over by the earth Kindred, and the air and water Kindreds enter Taran and Cleo’s bodies respectively. Kyan, along with Possessed!Olivia, leave.
- Kurtis abducts Magnus and tortures him. Magnus wakes as he’s being buried alive.
