What happened in Saga Volume 7?

  • Marko and Alana are discussing whether they should tell Hazel about the new baby that’s on the way.
  • Prince Robot IV is having disturbing dreams, mostly about Alana.
  • The tree ship is a bit damaged so they have to make an emergency landing on Phang. This is where Sophie is from. The war has completely demolished the moon.
  • The crew come across the locals, some cute little marsupial looking things that can talk. Hazel immediately makes friends with one of the younger ones, called Kurti.
  • They get stuck on Phang for six months. Marko attempts to look for fuel so they can finally take off.
  • Hazel has been practising her magic and she can create sparks.
  • The Will is looking for Sophie. He asks Gwen’s wife where she is, but Gwen’s wife is having none of it and sends The Will on his way.
  • Robot IV sends Izabel out to look for fuel.
  • Izabel runs into a bounty hunter called The March. They have two heads. They kill Izabel. Hazel feels it in her heart, because the two were bound.
  • Hazel tells the others what may have happened. Marko and Petrichor go out looking for Izabel.
  • The Will is fired from his bounty hunting agency.
  • Hazel kisses Kurti.
  • Robot IV is having bad dreams again. Kurti and Hazel watch him sleep as they can view the dreams on his screen. It’s probably not the best idea.
  • Petrichor comes across a weird psychic mushroom, which tells her that Phang is on its way to a creepy baby black hole.
  • Robot IV gets high and tries to assault Alana. She’s about to fight him off when he holds his hand gun to his own head.
  • Marko returns, Robot shoots at him, and Alana knocks Robot out.
  • The March finds Kurti and threatens him. They hold him hostage and say they want Hazel.
  • The Will finds Sophie, Gwen, and Lying Cat. No one wants to go with him.
  • The March captures Alana, but Hazel distracts them with sparks and fireworks. Kurti gets away.
  • Marko shoots The March.
  • Robot is tied up and Marko is about to behead him, I think.
  • Petrichor finds fuel, so now they can leave Phang.
  • Jabarah tells Alana and the others that the marsupials won’t be going with them. They’re going to stay on Phang.
  • The robots report that Phang is going to pass by the creepy baby, but then some rebels get involved and ruin everything.
  • The treehouse takes off and it’s all very violent. Alana can no longer feel the baby moving.
  • Phang gets devoured.
