What happened in Saga Volume 3?
- We cut back to the group heading to see the famous author, D. Oswald Heist. Prince Robot is on their tail.
- They land on Quietus and Karla (Grandma Horns) gets her ear chomped by a skull haunted by bone bugs.
- They are attacked by a skeleton but are saved by Heist.
- The Will has a dream about his ex, The Stalk. She tells him to stop hunting the team or he’ll die.
- Two journalists, Upsher and Doff, are reporting on Alana and the whole saga. They go and speak to Alana’s stepmother, who is the same age as Alana. Ew.
- She assures them that Alana is a good person and wouldn’t be involved with any extremists.
- Heist gets overwhelmed and pukes on the baby.
- Heist shares that his wife and son died.
- The Will gets a call from an informant telling him Prince Robot is taking his ship to Quietus.
- Countess Robot X tells the journalists about her experience working with Alana. One of them is shot in the shoulder by a sniper.
- Heist advises the team to stop fighting and blend into society. It’s safer for the baby that way.
- The Will is informed that the planet is full of hallucinogens. Not soon enough because Sophie, high on drugs, stabs him in the neck.
- Gale meets with the journalists and tells them Alana is a spy. He threatens them and tries to have them killed.
- Gwendolyn realises she’s hallucinating. She and Lying Cat head back to the ship.
- Marko tells Alana she should become an actor so she can get paid and wear a mask.
- Gwendolyn comes across Sophie’s carnage. She ties the kid up. She says they have to find Marko so he can perform a healing spell on The Will.
- Izabel encourages Karla to get with Heist.
- The journalists figure Alana and co. went to Quietus.
- The Brand goes after the journalists.
- And now we’re back where book two ended, with the family hiding in the attic and Prince Robot threatening Heist.
- Sophie apologises to The Will, and he seems to die.
- Karla goes to stop Prince Robot. She gets shot. Heist shoots Prince Robot.
- Gwendolyn kicks the door down and kills Heist. She goes to find Marko.
- Izabel scares Lying Cat away.
- Gwendolyn and Alana meet. Marko says the healing spell only works on their kind.
- Gwendolyn tries to shoot Alana so Marko pushes his wife and child off the side of the lighthouse.
- Alana can fly though.
- Alana shoots Gwendolyn.
- The Brand goes to see The Will in hospital. She’s his sister. Her real name is Sophie.
- We skip ahead and Hazel is now a toddler.
